| EXTENDED SHELF
LIFE FireAde AFFF Foam, like all firefighting materials made by Fire Service
Plus, will not separate or coagulate even if the container seal is broken. Even
if left in an open container fully exposed to air, FireAde AFFF Foam's performance
will not be affected. It will not lose its consistency. It will not begin to divide
into its various components. Conventional foam products will begin to degrade
as soon as they come into contact with oxygen. They will deteriorate into a thick
paste or gel, losing their effectiveness, jamming application equipment and requiring
time consuming cleanup. STABILITY
WITH A PAYOFF FireAde AFFF Foam not only resists the effect of oxygen
exposure, it also is immune to UV damage. FireAde AFFF Foam is packed in translucent
containers so fluid levels can be checked without opening a container. Other foam
products are sold in white containers because the white material stops the penetration
of ultraviolet light. Unlike FireAde AFFF Foam, these other products are UV sensitive
and will deteriorate under UV exposure. FireAde AFFF Foam is treated with a water
based food grade dye that will change in color after prolonged exposure to sunlight.
However, the change will not affect the effectiveness of FireAde AFFF Foam in
any way.
